Skip hire terms and conditions

  • Hire is from 1 day up to a maximum of 4 weeks ,  call us when you are done with it and we will collect within a couple of days (please note during busy period collections may take up to 5 working days). If we not not receive a phone call we will assume the skip is ready and we shall collect around 30 days.  If you need the skip longer then just let us know when you place your order or extend the hire for free.
  • If we come to deliver your skip and you change your mind at the point of delivery or we cannot gain access then you will be charged a £60 wasted journey fine. 
  • For customers who have paid by card and cancel the skip , there will be a £10 admin charge to cover our loss. 
  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring that at all times skips are loaded safely and that the area around the skip(s) is kept safe and tidy. Should any skip be deemed by The Company to be overloaded, it is The Customer’s responsibility to rectify the situation. However, The Company reserves the right to, at any time; remove any objects from the skip(s) that it feels may jeopardize the safe transportation of any skip(s). Any extra costs howsoever incurred in removing, transporting or disposing of the contents of any skip(s); will be charged to The Customer.
  • Any skips which have been out longer than 14 days MAY be collected without prior notice , therefore please ensure you tell us if you need it longer. Please note that collections may take longer during busy periods.
  • If payment has not been made prior to delivery , there shall be an additional administration charge for chasing the payment after delivery. Charges shall be applied at a rate of £10 per day after the skip has been delivered. 
  • Our Skip Lorries are large and heavy; as such we require a site surface capable of withstanding 18.00 tonnes Should site surface criteria be less than stated above, The Customer must accept all responsibility for any damage whatsoever or howsoever caused.
  • A skip must not be moved without prior permission from The Company; The Customer must accept all responsibility for any damage or extra costs incurred due to any skip being moved howsoever caused.
  • We may change you for the abortive visit if we are unable to deliver or collect the skip on the arranged time due to restrictions on the access to the skip.
  • We shall not be liable for any consequential loss, expenses, liabilities or claims arising out of the late delivery, non-delivery, collection or unsuitability of the skip.
  • It is your responsibility to look after the skip whilst it has been delivered to you and you are responsible for the cost of repair or replacement should it be lost, stolen or damaged (including by internal fires).
  • Delivery times are between 8-5pm, if you would like 30 minutes notice before delivery then please let us know.
  • Payment is due either on delivery by cash or over the phone before delivery if paying by card. We do not accept payment on collection.
  • If you have chosen to pay by card then please make sure you call us with your card details prior to delivery. Unpaid skips may delay delivery.
  • Skips are to be level filled only – Highly stacked/overloaded/unsafe skips will not be collected.
  • IMPORTANT : As of Monday 20th February , we are no longer able to take any Domestic Upholstered seating or Mattresses within our skips. This is down to Government Changes which came into force recently. 
  • ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR UPHOLSTERED SEATING AND MATTRESSES FOUND IN SKIPS :
Single seater : £70
Double Seater : £115

Single : £46
Double/King : £70
